ニューフレックスでリバイバルされた「ORIGIN -The day-」はライディングの安定感、カービング、パウダー、全てにつけてバランスの取れたライディングボードである。テーパードされたアウトラインは容易にターンに入らせてくれる、テーパードアウトラインの特徴的なターンのしやすさと、本来は相反するはずの推進力をも兼ね備えたボード。また、安定したフレックスはボードが暴れてしまいがちなスロープでもエッジングによるコントロールがしやすく、今まで苦手だった、辛いだけの場所でも楽しいスロープに変えてしまう力を持っている。
